Glasgow-born;Toronto-based Gail McInnes has been involved in Toronto’s fashion scene for fifteen. Glasgow-born, Toronto-based Gail McInnes has been involved in Toronto’s fashion scene for fifteen. Gail launched her marketing, promotions and events management company Magnet Creative Management in early 2010, working with fashion, entertainment and lifestyle brands; including Lucian Matis, Krane, MICALLA, LINE Knitwear, and Toronto Fashion Incubator.


Prior to launching her own successful business, Gail founded the ground-breaking The Style Box, Canada’s first-ever Canadian designer fashion rental showroom. The Style Box catered exclusively to high-profile celebrities and dressed them for the Toronto International Film Festival, The Emmy Awards, Gemini Awards, and Toronto Fashion Week.


Gail’s inherent charm and insider knowledge helps her as the fashion host for TDotTV.  Her talent as a writer also has her work appearing in The Huffington PostGlobal NewsRevive Magazine, and TFI News.


She has been featured on Global Television’s The Morning Show,  CTV Newsnet, CBC’s Radio-Canada, Slice Network’s X-Weighted, MTV Live, and in FLAREELLE Canada, Scotland’s Sunday MailNational Post, Globe & MailToronto StarToronto LifeNOW Magazine, and many more.


Gail gained international recognition in 2011 when she was nominated as “Communicator of the Year” by the prestigious Scottish Fashion Awards, in association with VOGUE.com.
Gail devotes her time to furthering the careers of the next generation of fashion entrepreneurs through esteemed organizations Youth Employment Services (YES), working with at-risk youth as the A Passion for Fashion program coordinator, the Toronto Fashion Incubator (TFI), and as a guest speaker and judge at various colleges and universities.
