TORONTO - For anyone who has suffered through weeks, months and even years of construction in their neighbourhood, this video will make you green with envy.
Broad Group, a sustainable building company in China has built a 30-story tall prototype hotel is just 360 hours.
The prototype is a prefabricated modular building, which the company says has advantages over conventional buildings, including shorter construction time frames, lower construction waste, and more coordinated on-site construction management.
The energy-efficient hotel was tested for safety, and can reportedly withstand a 9.0 magnitude earthquake.
